MX5 Motors

Can someone tell me the major differences between the B6, BP and BP High Port motors.

May be in the market for a new motor, tossing up between rebuilding the B6 or upgrading to a BP or a NB8A motor.

Power wise what are the differences.

NB8A motor, better porting (so I hear)
