Clutch overheating in warm weather

Postby mr_rotary » Tue Apr 22, 2008 4:27 pm

With the summer season, the clutch in my NA6 seems to give of quite a lot of heat though the gearbox into the cabin and seems to slip a little as well. However now that it's come onto colder weather, there is now very little in-cabbin heat and the clutch grips a lot better.

What's the case for this or do I need a replacement clutch? Car has done just over 200,000km's and not sure if it's the original clutch.

your clutch is slipping and needs to be replaced

you'll probably get away with it for a few weeks but when the weather gets warmer its going to slip like it did
