Head shaving?

Postby Fra66L » Wed Oct 10, 2007 8:15 pm

The head's coming off my NB8A this week/weekend to have for a bit of a freshen up & a shave . Anyone know how much i should have taken off to get the CR up a bit on the stock 9.5:1 - I'm thinking 20thou should get me close to 10:1....

Cheers,
T

Thanks Babs!

As I'm not going for cam gears yet, do you reckon 25thou will throw the timing (or anything else) out too much?

Thx again,
Tony

It does retard the timing a touch I think maybe 2 degrees. But that's alright...more top end :)
