Thanks Andy,
I was going to contact them but i'm hoping to get them replaced under warranty, and I purchased them through Mania. They have a 10 year guarentee and i've only had them for 1 year. One of them was badly oxidised when I took it off which is what caused me the problems in the first place.
Thanks for the offer but i've got a set of OEM leads at home which I can go and grab tonight.

I got her up and running last night. I bronze brushed the spark plugs and chucked in the old set of OEMs and she runs like new again. I just couldn't pay $100 for a long lead and a short lead.
I won't be too happy if my Magnecors aren't replaced under their \"10 year guarentee\" as they oxidised and the bottom 1cm of each cord actually snapped of just removing them from the spark plugs! They snapped in the EXACT same spot.

I too had a set of Magnecors for the NB8B which corroded and phucked up, they fitted very poorly too. I just turfed them in the end gladly and got a set of new Mazda ones...no dramas since!
Another vote for the Mazda leads over the Magnecors. I ditched my magnecors after a few weeks.

Well, thank you Simone! Went down to MX5Mania yesterday and showed her the fouled lead and the broken bits and she said she'll just send them back. I didn't have to pay a cent.
The new leads are fantastic. They are thicker, blue and they have changed the stalk considerably. It is the exact length needed ,and has ripples at the top to seal the pod and the hat fits suggly over the hole as well.
Very happy with these ones and Simone's service.
