BP seems to be noticeably stronger especially in the lower part of the rev range. Which isnt really that unexpected I guess

yeh can see there there

you'll still beat me off the line quite easily

it needs a good tune...

the power lines probably look pretty different with the timing back to 10deg

the car feels like it has a lot more torque

can someone confirm that... bumping the timing give ya more kw high end or rev range but less in the low?

14deg BTDC will give you more go at High RPM but less down the bottom
18deg DTDC will give you more go at the low end but less at the top
16 is a compromise of the 2

just depends where you spend your time along the rev range.

some engines don't have issues with 18deg.
I've dríven one particular BP engine which couln't handle more than 12 before it started to ping.
