not that i'm planning on doing this but i'm just curious. has anyone done it? it seems like a good solution for a cold side intake on the na6. you'd just need to remove the temp sensor from the old afm and plumb it into your intake pipe somewhere.
there are 2 issues to overcome that i can think of:
- the voltage would need to be inverted (that's easy and cheap)
- the maf voltage has temp correction built into it. this would give inconsistent output depending on temperature. any way around this? or can you just remove the temp sensor altogether or just feed the ecu a fixed voltage or something.
1.8 maf onto 1.6 ?

The 1.6 AFM has a temp sensor built in, at least I assume that is what the little plastic thingy in the corner is. It connects to two of the output pins, earth and the one on the far right (closest the outlet of the AFM).
I cannot upload a picture now, but I am sure there is one.
