HPC Coating!!.... The exhaust is all done, *pics up*

Postby green_comet » Tue Oct 03, 2006 10:59 pm

Hey everyone,

I am looking at getting my newly purchased headers HPC Coated. I would just like to know if anyone knows of a place in Victoria that does HPC Coating???

I have only found one place in Leongatha, about 5 hours drive from my house. Does anyone know of other places??

any help is very appreciated.

Cheers
Ryan

hpc coating in Victoria

Hi Ryan

I used HPC in Leonthagga. They had a deal with Aust Post because of volume and did door to door pretty cheap - to Canberra anyway. Cant fault their product either although gloss has gone off aluminium extractors but still looks good.

Thanks for the help guys..

Well i got quoted $210 from HPC in Leongatha to get them coated, and was quoted $220 from Jet-Hot.. postage was both $15 each way..

So is $250 with Jet-Hot inc postage , and $240 with HPC inc postage...

Think ill go with HPC, unless there is much difference between the two companys coatings..

thanks again.

yeah they dont look too bad..

Shame i sent them away for HPC coating, before i opted to go turbo. Looks like they will be back up on ebay soon, unless someone on here wants them??

Hey Russell, what computer are you using to run your turbo setup? I think im going to go with a greddy e-manage ulimate, seems really good for the price.

Like Saboteur Said. Using the SMC v1.94 but it needs a dwell board fitted
I got the ECU cheep and I know how to program them. If I had to buy a new
one I would get the SM4. It has a heap more functions www.autronic.com
I made mine Plug and Play so if I undo the turbo I can turn it back to STD
Nice and Easy :)

Well got the exhaust done yesterday, at Performance exhausts in ringwood. They did an ok job, had to go back a couple times as the pipe was to close to the diff, and was rattling. But its all fixed now...

Its a 2 1/4 mild steel pipe. HPC headers, into hiflow cat, in resinator, into magniflow stainless muffler.... Screams through mid range, and top end now, feels alot smoother, all in all a very good mod. It sounds pretty nice too, ill try get a sound file up

Here's some pics..
