COMPRESSION RATIO B6T PISTONS

Just wondering if anyone know what compression ratio the factory B6t pistons run.any help would be appreciated.

Dont quote me on this but i've always been under the impression that they were 7.8-7.9:1.
I remember reading about it somewhere a good while ago, so my memory is pretty foggy on it.

But i'd say it wouldnt be much higher than the above figure.
Try fordlaser.com forums, they will definately know.

Just checked on one of the Charts B6T run a 7.9-1 ratio,so it should be good for boosting.

Yep 7.8 and 7.9, there was apparently a small variation and the later models are the lower comp ones. if you buy from mazda brand new you get 7.8:1

seems to me your going FI. why didnt you keep the injectors you sold me for your project? theres nothing wrong with them is there :mrgreen:

The only thing wrong with the injectors could be that they are too big for a 1.6 with 7.9:1 compression motor,so I have to source some 330cc for now.

It works out my tuner is the problem and not the size of the injectors.
