Hi,
It wouldn't be a straight swap unfortunately. The 1.6L uses a different wiring loom (coils and ignitor plug to start with are different). The throttle cable is also different, as is the exhaust and a few other things. The other thing is that seeing as you have a 94, you have a 1.8L engine. So you'd be decreasing power and torque.
Unless there's something wrong with your current engine I wouldn't bother with a swap. 150,000KM is still young for a BP engine - you'll see it past 230,000 if it's looked after.

Can I use my current loom and ecu?
And also will I gain any more horsepower from this engine?

IMHO, don't even think about it

edit/ As the question has changed completely, disregard this post entirely

takes 150000km to run in an engine? didn't know that?
so an engine's peak performance in its life is around that point?

if i was in your position ide save the engine for a later date.
If by some chance your current engine shyts itselt it will be good to have that second engine on hand.
But in the mean time you can always mod it while it sits in your garage... headwork, pistons and all other fun bits for when it does come time to put it into the car.

Jap spec vehicles always put out more HP. Better fuel one reason.
Only way to prove this though is if anyone can get hold of a JDM brochure? I may be able to get a hold of one?
