Inside the fuel tank under the rear parcel shelf,need to pull out the carpet and there is a metal cover to pull off.

Check with MX5 mania,they should have a second hand one.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Plus several others in the bone yard...
