NB aftermarket seats

Evening folks,
Currently have the old Recaro from my old NA in my NB. It's sitting on PCI side mounts bolted to the stock rails and is way too high. I keep looking at aftermarket seat brackets but am lost about what to do with the OEM seat belt. While I'm happy to use a harness on track, I obviously want the OEM belt for road dtuies and on the NB it's mounted directly to the rail.
I assume I'm missing something really simple here but what have people done in NB's to get a sidemount seat in and keep the factory belt?

If you're happy to lose the sliding rail, you could use the
SkidNation brackets.

I use the NB8A/NA seatbelt stalk, bolted to the side of the tunnel. It means that I have two stalks when the 'street' seat is in, but when the race seat is in I can use the three-pointer and the seat-mounted stalk. The other is rotated rearwards out of the way.

Ooops!

Reread the above, and that is confusing.
When using the race seat, on NB8A rails, the stalk bolted to the tunnel is used. When using the stock seat (with integrated stalk), the additional tunnel stalk is pushed back out of the way and the seat-mounted stalk is used.
From memory, the tunnel stalk uses a standard harness backing plate, and it may even use a harness eye as the bolt to kill two birds at once.

If I pull carpet I'll find a tunnel mounted bolt hole, same as the NA? Then I just need to track down an NA stalk?

I don't know, but I very much doubt it.
I presume you will need to drill a hole in the floor & tunnel for the harness lap belts. You can install longer stalks under the harness eye bolts, with backing plates & nuts underside. As GM indicated, the one hole does both attachments.

Don't believe so as RS2000 says. From memory hks_kansei used NA6 transmission tunnel mounted seat belt stalks in his NB8A & had to drill & fit backing plates:

It's DIY (drill your own)

I knew I was keeping the GM for a reason ...
Just had a look, definitely no secured nut there in the NB8A, I drilled a hole, then used the standard issue harness backing plate with welded nut. Turns out I also used a couple of big/long pop rivets to secure the harness plate so it didn't fall off if the harness eyebolt was removed.
