I've recently noticed that I have managed to scratch up my nb glove box lid from stacking guitar and amp on the passenger seat and floor. I was wondering what's the best... Get a new one... Are they available? Or try to repair the scratches.... If so what's the best method. Any advice or personal experience appreciated

Cheapest/easiest might just be getting a good condition one from a wreck.

I reckon that if the lid is rubbed down i.e. gloss off and then recoated with a pressure pack dye it should come up pretty well.

I'll have a look at what I have in my collection.

Are you coming to Wakefield on 1st July?

Hey no not going to Wakefield. I had a look online and there is a way to remove scratches by rubbing down with very fine sandpaper using superglue as a filler then respray with a vinyl paint as mentioned by Mr morlock . However if you have a as new one you want to sell let me know

Sorry, overlooked getting back on this. All mine are marked, some not so bad, some ... definitely secondhand. Probably better working with what you have.

Sanding and spraying may work, but it would be a bugger of a job to do it well, since the lid is slightly textured.

The easiest will be just replace with a secondhand one.

Otherwise, I have seen people who have re-covered the lid with vinyl/leather, which can look quite nice if done well.
