I've been looking for a replacement leather shifter gaitor boot for my 89 NA6 and most seem to come with a matching leather handbroke boot too (e.g.

I bought my last set for my SE from this seller on ebay:
j-f-customsNice quality and perfect fit.
Use to be another one called TopGator or something similar, but I couldn't find him.
Edit: the handbrake one slips over the plastic cover...

As already mentioned the leather hand brake cover goes over the existing plastic cover. The mx5 mania gear stick and hand brake covers were made by a member of this forum, Benny. Not sure if this is still case. I fitted these to another 5 that I previously owned.
They do enhance the appearance of a older cockpit.
More so if you buy a set with contrast stiching.
