Hard Top

Postby madmort » Sat Sep 10, 2016 7:53 pm

Only had my 02' 5 for a couple of months and now the original owner contacts me and wants to know if I want the original hardtop. It's apparently like new. Should I fork out the near 1k to keep it in the shed half the year? Or just pass on it.
Not sure it'd get used enough. I know only I can answer the question but for those who have them are they worth the effort/price?
Cheers

Hard tops look great and have better visibility out the rear. Guess it depends how often you want the top down and also how often you drive it.

Buy it. Sell it if you find that don't use it.

Pay the right price (for the condition, type) and you won't lose money on it. Hardtops are a pretty safe 'investment', people are always looking for one.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)
