Hey guys
Just wondering where in Sydney would be a good place for me to get my NA8 rocker cover and intake manifold polished? And how much would it set me back?

can't help with where, but check the yellow pages for metal polishers, most industrial areas have at least one.
Cost wise, best ask them, but i would expect it to be a few hundred minimum since it's fairly labour intensive.
the cheapest option is to have a go yourself, it's as simple as buyign a heap of sandpaper and moving from rough to fine, then from the fine sandpaper to metal polish.
it will take you ages though if you DIY

One of the sponsors offered a changeover on the Cam cover- and it was very reasonably priced. Okibi is the go to man for a proper overview of how to polish the covers at home though you will need polishing wheels on a bench grinder to get a good result without a really excessive amount of time. If you do have a bench grinder with wheels for polishing another benefit is being able to polish the saucepans from time to time. Also take a look a the net for plenty of diys on polishing. Changeover is the way to go for ease.

Time consuming and VERY VERY messy but it's something new to learn.
Just don't go overboard.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
