Anyone here, or friends of, in the air conditioning game in Brissie? My AC produces no cold whatsoever, literally. Is that bad?, im hoping it just needs a gas recharge

If it makes no cold at all, a gas recharge probably won't fix it (at least not for long).
What they normally do is they will give you a recharge and send you on your way. They will put a dye in it so if it gets worse again they can track down where it is coming from and what course of action will be required to fix it.
From memory, it is usually $100-120 for a recharge from a proper place.
There are a couple of places in Slacks Creek that specialise in just air con stuff that can do it.

Alternatively, hit up Callum Whatmore from Speedy Refrigeration in Underwood. Good guy, and loves cars. Races a Sil80 at QR/Lakeside, and has been to one or two of our club track days for shakedowns too.

Currently doing domestic ac (I'm their sparky) and we would get reamed if we regassed a system low on pressure. I don't understand how they get away with not pressure testing and finding / fixing the leak before regassing. I've got the tools and access to gas. No experience though!

Very appreciative of the response fellas! The places mentioned are conveniently near my home or work. So its just a matter of price. Cheers.
Yeah I've got the sinking feeling there might be a leak but am really hoping its a loose connection or at a part easily removed or repaired in situ.
Thanks for the offer cookie but wouldnt want you to get in trouble.
