Different NA Rear Garnish.

Postby Gladiator » Mon Aug 24, 2015 9:28 pm

Ok so I smashed my rear garnish (& other stuff) against a tyre wall recently. Mine is a '90 Eunos. The replacement I tried was from a '93 AUS model, and it is totally different. The '90 Eunos has triangular holes for the number plate lights. The '93 Aus didn't. Heaps different.
Does anyone know the actual point of change. Or model difference? Or have one for sale?

NA6 has the smaller deeper numberplate space you are used to. For the NA8 they changed to the one it sounds like you have now... wider numberplate space that is less recessed. The numberplate lights as you have discovered are different too... could you perhaps just grab a set of new lights instead of hunting down the whole panel now that you've got one?

The difference was NA6 to NA8.

They are interchangeable with the exception of the lights. If i were you I'd just find a way to make lights work with the NA8 garnish.

Thanks all. That's a good idea Slug Dub. I'll hunt down some NA8 number plate lights.
