You'll be happy to know that the strip along the edge there isn't rubber, it's actually just a hard plastic moulding there for looks.
While the plastic would be very hard to find these days, you can easily use some moulded rubber C section from Clarke Rubber.
You'll just need a little adhesive to hold it down.
What's with the seal around the glass though? it looksa bit.... odd?
