Sorted a couple of mine today with a Recoil kit (I remember it as a Helicoil from Pommieland).
If you have the same issue and you're near me, give me a shout as there are still half a dozen of the coils left along with the whole install kit. Bring your own drill and some beer. Actually, strike the beer as I've given it up. Bring wine for SHMBO.
