In our workshop do our own chip repairs.
The kit was expensive at $2500 but when spread over 120 buses it ok price wise.
Now if your chip is very small, put a clear patch of contact over the chip and don't bother with it unless it is a traveling crack.
The repairs aren't always completely sucessful even with a quality kit. If the kit is real cheap and you don't mind replacing the screen
if it goes pair shaped go for it.
Just note that to be 100% sucessful you need to drill out the chip down to the laminate.
