Hi,
I fitted SE seats into my NA8, with NA8 runners.
I seem to sit high and have to duck my head to get in. Are the SE seat cushions higher than an NA cushion? The runners are low and there's no space to be had (there is a boxed section running across the front).

Re: SE seats in an NA8
From my experience - yes - all the NB8B seats sit higher by varying degrees to the NA seats.
BTW, are yours the leather or fabric SE seats?
I fitted standard NB8B fabric seats in my old NA6 and they definitely sat me a bit higher than the NA seats, though not enough to be an issue.
I had fabric SE seats in my NB8A and now have an SE with leather seats. The leather seats are easily the highest I've sat in mainly because there's less give than the fabric SE seats I had.
My driver's seat from the NB8A had a foamectomy that sat me the lowest of all the seats so far, but I've read that it's not a good idea to do this to leather seats ....

Re: SE seats in an NA8
That is the exact answer I needed. I've got leather SE seats, so I'm sitting as high as possible. I had Sparcos previously, which were super low.
Thanks Kev.
Thanks Kev.

Foamectomy works on leather SE seats.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

You know those "I know I read it somewhere, but for the life of me can't find it" moments? .... well...this is one of those ...
I seem to recall something to do with less "give" in the leather stressing the stitching.
But yeah, done properly, I dare say it should be fine.
