NB8B seats into NA

I've read around about this but...

If I'm bolting NB8B seats into an NA, should it be assumed you also need the NB8B seatbelt stalk fitting, and you can't use the NA8 seatbelt stalk fitting?
Does the bolt from the NB8B seatbelt stalk fitting that attaches to the trans tunnel, attach in the same place as the NA8 one?

Keep NA8 stalk on trans tunnel.
Remove NB8B stalk from seat

Bolt seat in

What Bases r u using?
Nb clasp is too short for trans tunnel.
Na8 clasp mount is stupid.
I got a pair of na6 long clasps with na8 bases. Fitting nb seats soon.

Heya TTT, now that would work from a certain point of view*, but this is where my need for clarification sets in. We've got the type of NA seatbelt stalk in our NA6, which is a a seatbelt catch attached to a stalk on its own attached right in the bottom corner of the seatwell, and we've got an NA8 with a seatbelt catch attached to a slider, bolted to the NA8 seat, but also attached at the back to a different hole on the trans tunnel higher up.

I can't bolt this NA8 catch/runner to the NB seat because its bolts do not line up, *and while I could keep the NA8 catch/runner attached it will only be by the one bolt at the back which is not very secure.

It also seems like I cannot use the NA6 stalk in the NA8 because of the higher bolt hole, so the catch would then be coming across the lap rather than at the side of the seat, and then the NA8 latch/runners won't attach to the NA6 because the hole at the back is in a different place.

I am wondering if the NB8B seatbelt stalk is a similar but different design like the NA8 catch/slider, and if so, does the NB8B one bolt in the same place to the trans tunnel as the NA8 one?

Maybe my best bet is to try as Bruce has suggested, NA6 stalks and the NA8 runners only.

I feel like I am overthinking this, so apologies if I am
