Just checking if the NA's have a good heater unit? mine seems to only blow luke warm air when car is running at correct temps, replaced thermo and flushed the whole system several times - have I missed something??

Is there water going through the heater core?

Similar problem to my car haha. But mine started being like this after the last coolant change which was to Nulon Ultra Cool, a non glycol/non anti freeze coolant for motorsport..

Takes longer to warm up & if I am just economy cruising in the highest gear I can then the heater isn't all that great. Especially on the highways at a constant 110kph in fifth gear.

My NA6 was great though when I had it. Even with Redline Water Wetter but didn't try the Nulon stuff in it.

Sorry I should have added more detail........................

It SEEMS like there is coolant flowing through it as there is some temperature - but very luke warm at best

the hoses in the engine bay feel OK, will remove them and double check to make sure

The temperature slide does have an effect on the heat level - by moving it to the cool end it is cold air flowing at full heat luke warm and adjustable between.

the Car has factory Air Conditioning - BUT has no belts and has not been running since I bought it - I wonder if there is a link??

Luckily we are over the cool weather now - so I have all year to get it sorted - I might pull the heater core out and re-condition it, I just didn't want to go to that trouble if they are known for shocking heaters - sounds like they are not!

Oh Well, at least whoever gets this car next will have the whole car all sorted out for them to use and enjoy LOL

Similarly, is the heater tap fully opening, even though the dash slide control is fully to the right?
