my hard top is very sad looking and needs a colour change repaint. the outer window seal has shrunk and the seal joiner at the top has fallen off...

Whats involved in removal/refitting the window with a new seal. i understand that the outer seal can be replaced with a generic one (VR commodore?) but is the joiner available?

what about the inner seal? ive read its just a foam strip and sealed up with some windscreen sealant?

anyone with advice on refitting and sealing without using OEM seal??

Cheers.

I just had mine replaced after repainting. It can all be done with standard stuff, a seal between the glass and the hardtop then the rubber moulding that sits on the outer side over the glass edge. Cost was $90.

Was the 90 using generic stuff or mazda stuff? 90 just for parts or was that drive in drive out?

$90 for the whole job done, standard window parts. The Mazda rubber moulding part alone is $130 (not the seal) for what is a standard shape.
