Windscreen Rubber Surround Removal - NA6

Hi All.
Is possible to re-use the rubber trim that surrounds the outside edge of the windscreen and how is it attached?
I have access to a better second hand one that is still on a car but no point trying to change it if it's going to get knackered trying to get it off or on.
