Bonnet mis-aligned

Hi Guys,

My NB has had a mis-aligned bonnet since I bought it, there's about a 5-10mm gap on both the left and right side (i think it's a bit higher on the passengers side).

Only just now wanting to address the problem since it hasn't bothered me a whole lot.

So my question is - Is there a way to adjust how the bonnet sits? If so, how? I don't think the bonnet is bent in any way, not to the naked eye at least. Just wondering if I can fix this myself or I need to take it to a panel beater, or even replace the bonnet to fix it. Whatever ends up being cheapest, I just want it sitting flush as it should.

Tried searching around but couldn't find anything pertaining to the NB with a similar issue.

If you want to have a go yourself I'd look at adjusting the bolts on the bonnet hinges first, ie. loosen the hinges, reposition slightly then tighten up again.

Just to clarify though, what exactly is the problem?
Is the bonnet sitting too high relative to the guards?
Pictures to show us what you mean?

Pretty sure you can also do the same adjustment for the front quarter panel. So if you cannot adjust the bonnet far enough, try adjusting the quarter panel too.

Looks a bit like it's the front that needs to come down a touch more than anything else, have a look for some adjustment possibilities around the latch or front rubber 'stops'.

Did some adjusting on the weekend with the hinges and the rubber stops/bonnet latch etc and got it slightly better but it's still not flush. I feel like when I fix one side the other ends up worse, kinda can't win haha.

Where are the adjustments located for the quarter panels? I'll try this next
