Just reading the latest Club magazine, yes slack of me there is a page on the newly developed BD bar for the NC. Does anyone have any more pictures or is there anyone on here with one installed?? Im very interested, as my head currently sits above the factory ROPS.
I've emailed BD themselves and are awaiting a reply

Re: Brown Davis Rollbar for NC
I saw one at PI Historics a couple of weeks ago. Top was up, so I didn't get any photos. Looked like it has removeable rear stays, don't recall a diagonal, but I assume there was one.
I was surprised I had seen nothing on here about an NC bar, given the number of NCs being tracked.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Re: Brown Davis Rollbar for NC
Hi guys,
Resurrecting this thread because maybe I haven't been looking hard enough but I haven't seen anyone on here with one of these.
Speaking to Brown Davis and looking at the article I linked below they sound like everything I need (CAMS compliant, lots of extra headroom etc...).
Are there any drawbacks with the bar or is it just because people who own NC's don't bother with a roll bar because it has the stock hoops?

Thanks Regie, I pulled the trigger on buying one of these on Friday, just waiting for a postage quote to come so I can pay next week.
I'm genuinely surprised I havn't seen any of these in the club with all the NC's competing, will post some pics when I get it in

I'm keen to see how it looks
I think the $1400 price tag turns a few people off.
I still need to talk to AGI and see if they have any solutions/suggestions for the NC

Re: Brown Davis Rollbar for NC
Cool, I'll show you at the December club day
Yeh it is sort of expensive, I've got all the other safety gear which compliment it (harness, HANS, Seat) so I figure another $1400 to top it off isn't too bad and the missus wasn't upset about me spending money on it.
I looked into the option of a weld in half cage and price wise it's a little bit cheaper than the BD option but the problem for me was it needs a hardtop (so add another 2k+ to the cost) and would be irremovable.

Re: Brown Davis Rollbar for NC
To follow-up on the last post, I got my Brown Davis Roll bar installed so I thought I'd share the pictures.
For the record I'm 6'1 and come in well under the roll bar with my Helmet + HANS whereas before I was well over so it's definitely a huge improvement over stock!
Some pics below:
