My stock header has been banging on this bolt from the butterfly brace for a while, and it's pretty annoying. It's the bolt on the top right corner of the central connector, if I lie under the car with the head towards the engine.
I've already wrapped that section of header with some exhaust wrap, but all that's done is made the metal on metal banging into a muffled version of that. Still as annoying. Any advice on what I can put in between? I've been thinking of some heat resistant foam or maybe some silicone?

Exhaust shop and get the pipe heated and tweaked so it doesn't touch.

It's not about it touching, but that the exhaust swings around and bangs against the bolt when the road is rough or when I'm turning right. I've already had some zip ties on the exhaust mounts, but it still doesn't work

Without seeing it, would a shorter bolt suffice?
If not, Sailaholic's method may work, a small bend may give enough clearance that when the exhaust moves it still clears the bolt.
It may be easier to have the brace bent to clear rather than the exhaust.

I've been told that the engine mounts might need a look at. I'll get a carriage bolt to replace the current one
