>They also had a third party do a tensile force test in accordance with EWG guidelines and found that each hinge can withstand up to 9 newtons of force. This is one extremely strong product.
Wow, 9 Newtons! Better hope your door is less than 1kg.

What's the benefit?
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

The doors declare to the world 'I am a wanker'.
These kits went out of style with hotted up CRXs.

I thought new lambos came with doors that open just the same way as a regular old VN commodore?

For reference though, most guys and girls on here aren't in to that sort of thing (hence the somewhat negative responses.

I'd probably be a bit worried about them reliably clearing the soft top when opening, as well as the nearly $2k pricetag!

You could do a whole lot with $2k on an mx5, if it's your taste though, go ahead, you'll likely be the first on Oz.

I've seen these installed on a heavily modified MX5 in the US (I think I was "bottom feeding" on CR). The guy said they were very heavy, the mount points have to be extremely strong, and that he wouldn't do it again.

- I'll pass on these.

No intention on buying them. Just thought they looked good, but apparently that makes me a wanker. At least I'm not rude wanker.
