The seat belt buckle bracket is stopping the rails fitting on my seat, am I doing something wrong or is there a step I'm am missing?

Edit: Car is a NB8A

Yep... you have to cut that little bugger off.

I got it to fit by filing down the inner side of the captive nuts on the side bracket. Takes a little fiddling but you can make it work.

Ok wasn't sure and wasn't about to attack it with an angle grinder without checking I was missing something simple.

It's in, only took an angle grinder, vice, two large shifters, power drill, bench grinder, a temper tantrum and more swearing than I'd like to admit to.

NA rails and an NA seatbelt stalk attached to your left harness mounting point works well in an NB too!

What is the total width of a Sprint V at that point? Something like 50cms?

I am looking at a different seat for my car but I want to keep the NB rails unmodified so need to fit within that seat belt bracket.

Do all NA seatbelt stalks receive an NB seatbelt? If so, who would like to sell me a stalk to make swapping the Sprint for the road seat even easier?
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Strike that, I reckon I can fix the NB receiver directly to the tunnel so I can use the standard belt regardless of which seat is in.
