Paint colour for NA with bronze 6ULs and shop in brissie?

Hi all, I need to do a full repaint of my NA... its low with hardtop, window tint and spaced out Bronze 6ULS. I want to make the car look as mean as I can and more aggressive but have no idea what colours would match the wheels... was thinking either black, matt black or a dark blue (suby style), anyone seen something like this that works or have any input?

Also, I was going to try and do a bodge paint job myself but don't have any experience so does any one know of any good / cheap paint places around brisbane / gold coast? Considering doing all the prep work myself and then sending it away to get done in the shop as cheap as i can. Thanks!

i think it would be easier to pick the car colour you want....then you can change the colour of the wheels :)

I can pass on the name of the business (on the Gold Coast) who did the paint on my blue NA (now with aluminum coloured stripes).

It is expensive to do a full colour change, what is your cars base colour

Paint it black. REALLY black. Blacker than the blackest black... times infinity.

Really really black is quite appealing... What was the name of them Magpie? The car's silver now and peeling it everywhere

If you're choosing black then it has to be metallic black. Matte black will not match the bronze unless it's got a matte finish as well.

Personally, I would pick the SE red to go with the metallic bronze 6ULs. Very popular on NBs & NCs. Haven't seen NAs in that combination before

I looked at the Mercedes matte black however it is not a simple paint to look after plus it would have been a complete strip back to bear metal and I did not want to spend that much.

The Mazda Aluminium colour that was used for my stripe actually 'changes' colour based on the light and the angle it is viewed from. To be honest I did not like the blue at first, but now I would not change it to anything else. All I have to do is get the rear bumper and part of the doors painted (up to the bumper line) in the Aulminium and the car will be externally finished.

There is a place called 'The Very Fast Paint Shop' somewhere in Brisbane, no idea what they would charge

Gloss black looks nice in an NA, bright yellow would go with the 6UL's or even the original blue like 'magpies'

If all else fails, get it done plain white and cover with crazy graphics!! There are some very radical paint jobs on 'Club Roadster' site

Ahh such a hard choice... I would love matte black but maybe not if its more expensive / less durable. But the wheels actually say that they are matte bronze, so does that mean that matte black would work well? That SE red does actually look really nice too, I quite like the idea of that with the black hardtop like this pic
