My dad took my car to his mates shop to get a roady, came back and the gearknob won't budge
Feels like its glued or something. Any ideas to get it off? I was thinking of heating it with a hairdryer to loosen the glue; if there is any.

Is it MOMO?
If it is there are screws at the base, the momo metal ring at the base turns clockwise.

Some Nardi ones also have an allen key needed to remove the knob.
I had one stick once and just kept wiggling it side to side until it came loose.

Rubber gloves can be handy for getting a good grip on something (using it as a rubber sheet, or as a glove) - with your hand or with a vice grip etc.

Finally got it off. Turns out it wasn't glued but just done up tragically tight. Got it loose with a piece of nonslip placemat/cupholder stuff. I think they use them under rugs aswell, Kinda like a foam net thing.
