NC Seatcovers

Hi everyone,

I have excellent leather seats but they do get rather hot rather quickly if left under the sun for just a short period of time. So I went in search of seatcovers for my 09' NC2. As most will know this is not as easy as it sounds especially with the seatbelt guide near the headrest and the seat airbag. Eventually I found Shearcraft Australia (i have nothing to do with this company what so ever) based on the Gold Coast in QLD. A quick call to this company and I was assured by the owner Ross that he could provide custom made covers that would fit perfectly, not restrict any of the factory items and would feel great. I was offered 2 grades of sheepskin and i chose the better of the two. Within a couple of days the covers were made and brought up to Brisbane and fitted to my car (no extra charge). Yes they were expensive compared to cheap auto store sheepskins but one has to remember the covers I purchased were custom made for the car, the skin side of the covers are also fully lined and they do feel very very soft. I am happy to report that the covers are perfect and the purchase/fitting experience was very good. :D

There is a guy in Melbourne who is also doing the same thing in sheepskin- Black Sheep Australia. The seat sides are left open so that the air bags are not compromised. I reckon its a great idea and the covers can of course be taken off.
