Velocity red paint - any issues?

Apart from my silver NB, I have recently purchased a Mazda 3 Maxx Sport in velocity red. I know car paints have improved over the years but red cars used to be notorious for chronic paint fade. Many early NAs in red appear faded, later red cars less so.
My cars are garaged when not in use and washed regulary and I wax my cars 4 times a year (Meguiars deep crystal carnauba wax). Just wondering has anyone had any paint fade issues with any Mazda red car since early NAs? Any tips to keep the velocity red looking good?
Cheers

Normal care and it will be fine Quicksilver. What you're doing is over and above that. Just beware of possible of paint peeling from friction - it happens with red cars because they are just so much faster than the others.

Oh maaaan, we could open such a COW on that! But for the record, and as may be needed in front of a Magistrate one day, my 3 is nicknamed Slowpoke Red due to my very cardiganed driving habits!

I've owned a velocity red m 5 and was very dissapointed with the paint.
It was very thin and chipped and scratched very easy. And being so thin the slightest mark went thru to the undercoat.

There shouldn't be paint fade as such as there is a clear coat.
Just keep it clean and it will look fantastic!
