Looking at fitting a style bar to my NB8B.
Question is - is there a difference between these two?
They appear very similiar to my eye, does anyone have either one and have a comment yay or nay?
Racing Beat or N*Power?

Re: Racing Beat or N*Power?
Cost wise I think N*Power looks the goods - mainly due to the fact that I can't find many outlets that supply the Racing Beat bar in Oz (based on a fairly lazy internet search).
N*Power seems to move their stuff on an Ebay store.
Thanks Reg (should have been quicker when you were selling yours)

Re: Racing Beat or N*Power?
lol reg, i would've thought you'd known better.
i wouldn't touch n*power with a 10 foot pole.
cheap build/cheap quality materials. i have heard from more than 1 person, first hand, that they rust internally after a year's use.
i'd go with racing beat.
there are HEAPS of other options out there other than npower or racing beat.
i had an SMB/sp motorsport cat back before. can vouch for them. the sound it made was really addictive. i miss it every little bit

oh shoot, i forgot to make the connection with style bars and racingbeat. point was, style bars from n power gets rusty, compared to brands like racing beat. read some feedback on n power style bars on this forum and elsewhere. people have read they received teh style bars rusty once they open up the package.
me going off re exhausts was a result of misreading the question

Just checked their website - certainly seems passionate about his business and hobby.
What sort of a hit would I be taking for shipping with something of that size?

Re: Racing Beat or N*Power?
Send him an email and you will know almost straight away his service is that good!.
He can now send them through the post again as the bar ends fold in and can meet our restrictive postal regs. get the bar, blocker and bag if you can .great value and from memory under $500 here landed.
Bag fills the gap below the bar and with the blocker makes the cabin useable top down with a bit of heater help even on the coldest winter day, plus holds a heap for trips away.
Good luck,
Peter.
