I dont care that my laces aren't fat or that I'm not even close to flush and I certainly don't want to be the illest!

Re: windscreen replacement
always the same answer really - shop around and do not just source on price alone. Often the local bigger car yard in your area can give a reference or the local detailer.

Re: windscreen replacement
Coming back from Melbourne yesterday I cracked one as well. NC - obriens quoted 688.00 installed in Hornsby.

Re: windscreen replacement
I find obriens ridiculously expensive, on my old ralliart colt they quoted me $580, had a guy recommend me his friend that does windscreen replacement and ill be using him from now on lol, he did my windscreen for $350 and when he said he was outside I came out and he had already replaced it and vacuumed all the broken glass out of the car!
He's in syd, pm if you want his number

Re: windscreen replacement
I had mine replaced a few months back.
Obriens were quoting something like $500-600.
Ace Windscreens beat them at something like $280-290.
I didn't end up getting either because my insurance covered it... but the guy I spoke to at ace windscreens seemed respectable and stated he used to work for O'briens.
In any case they both have warranty.
