Hey guys,
I know this is a common issue with the NA's, however I was only just new to learn about it.
Basically you can't open or unlock the affected door properly, turns out there is a little spring that fatigues and breaks.
MX5 Mania were able to supply a spring off the shelf for no hassle.
I wanted to share the link I found off another site that had easy to follow instructions took me 22mins in my lunch break to fix hardest part was getting the door trim off with he door closed.
