Yes, i have searched but didn't find a definitive answer to my question. I know there are lot of threads like this too.
So i want to find out what material my softtop is made out of, when look at it from the out side it looks like plastic with small grains. Which makes me think its vinyl.
But when i touch it on the inside its soft like cloth, and i can see the that its cloth like.
So which one is it cloth or vinyl?

there used to be a description vcf and this was vinyl coated fabric. All vinyl for tops, tonneaus etc have a fabric base and for tops it is grained.

Mr Mortlock is correct. Vinyl generally is a two layered laminated fabric bonded together. The fabric on the rear side gives it it's strength and durability, and the outer or face side withstands the elements.
