Time has come for me to replace my seat! Godamn NB8A seats!
The car is a weekender mostly and I am taking it to the track when I can now. Reason for the upgrade is mostly for the racing but I just don't want a seat thats uncomfortable for the weekend drives around too, like the long trips.
Mainly asking about the Cobra Monarco Pro & Sparco Sprint V. I can get these at a decent price. They both look almost identical. More to the point just wondering if anyone out there has had experiance with them both? I know a lot of guys love the sprint V. I know they fit in the MXs. I know they are ADR approved. But I don't know much about the monarco pro. Do they fit in MXs? I assume they would, both seats are relatively the same. I know it isn't ADR approved but has had tests done in europe so comply over there, but would an engineer worry about that?
Maybe I'm just thinking about it too much? Or maybe I just need some convincing? Or maybe there is another seat even better than both for the same price range?
Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Monarco Pro Vs Sprint V
Try and sit in a Sprint V if you can before purchasing. It seems to be that the taller and broader shouldered you are, the less you'll like the Sprint V's arrangement around the shoulders. Most people who complain that they're uncomfortable tend to complain most about the shoulder area, whereas those of us that are of a smaller frame/ less broad shouldered find them comfy.
I can't comment on any of the Cobras though.
Good luck.

If your ever in Sydney check out revolution racegear at parramatta road auburn. They have both in stock you can make direct comparisons and test fit both seats. 14mm spanner BTW for the bolts

Re: Monarco Pro Vs Sprint V
Pamex, thanks for that! I seem to find myself to be average/smaller so thats good news. Also seems like I'm going to have to plan a trip to some shops in syd one saturday morning haha. Will have to put revolution racegear on that list, thanks hjt.
Planning on having at least 1 seat before I get to the track next. Undecided if I should get 2 for the looks yet. Maybe get 1 of each then I can't go wrong haha.

rofl- didn't notice the username straight up.
You would fit in a sparco sprint 5 seat, but remember it's just a name, the cheaper cobra would be a decent alternate choice.
Personally i just test fitted some Sparco Pro2000 seats, they are so comfy.

Re: Monarco Pro Vs Sprint V
I think I have sat in a sprint V but for the life of me I just can't remember. Am planning on making my way to rev racegear this sat, depends on a few things still.
Was worried about how it is "just a name" and you end up paying extra just to have the name stitched on it.
The Pro2000s look great but I'm not sure if I want to go spending that much money per seat. Plus trying to convince the gf why I should spend twice as much when she thinks the cheaper ones are fine.
