Rear Spoiler Question

Hey guys. My CF oem rear spoiler just arrived from Rev9 yesterday.
I've had a good look at it and there is only a single hole for a bolt, direclty in the middle of the spoiler.
Is this enough or should I get the drill out and put another two in? Or just use double sided tape + the one bolt?
Just curious as to what others have done.

The OEM one comes with just 1 bolt and some very strong double sided tape that follows the outline of the underside of the spoiler.
It should hold (or at least I've never heard of anyone complaining that their ducktail spoiler has fallen off doing X kms/hr)

I took the factory OEM spoiler off my NC1 a while back and the spoiler didn't have a bolt in the middle but a plug that goes into a plastic retainer in the boot. the rest is held on with 3M tape. When Installing, make sure that you have 2 people to position it as you get one chance to get it right.
Please make sure that you post some photos once it's on ! I am a big fan of CF Parts !!

Maybe I should clarify... my experience was with NB ducktail lip.
I actually needed to drill a hole into the boot lid to fit the ducktail.

Hey mate. Fitted it today and took a few picks for you.
Excuse the quality, they're taken with my phone... so not the best...
Cheers,

DAAAMMMMNNNN
Looks soo hot, been tossing up whether to go with just the lip or the
full bootlid with ducktail spoiler.
But since you've got the spoiler, I'll be different and go with the bootlid!
Again...
LOOKS AWESOME!!

Hi
I'm a new NA owner, and new to the forum.
Where can I get the urethane rear spoiler ?
Is it just mounted using double-sided 3M tape?
Cheers
Dave

I think Dann meant attach it with urethane.
Thick black gluey stuff, used to hold the windscreen in.

I used some extreme double sided tape from bunnings to hold my kg works. I picked one that supposedly can hold 30kg to a wall... so far so good. Holds up fine dri ing to melbourne and back. Zero rattle in it too. Though if you push the issue you could just rip it off i guess.
