Help needed with safety 21cage

Postby red devil » Sun Aug 21, 2011 8:47 pm

Just bought the cage and went to install it and cant figure out for the life of me how to install the two sections of cage that go through the parcel shelf

If anyone has had to go through this before the help would be really appreciated

Cheers Eren
I dont care that my laces aren't fat or that I'm not even close to flush and I certainly don't want to be the illest!

Well with my NB MazdaSpeed cage you have to remove the metal panel that covers the front of the fuel tank. Then you have to line up the holes and drill through so you can bolt down to the chassis. Took me a while to realise how it bolted up too..

Did you have to tap the chasis? or did you just bolt into the hole you made?

thanks for the reply bud

Nope. Just drilled hole slide bolt through, place plate on from underside then put the nut on of course with washers inbetween. Not sure on a NA but on my NB there's a plastic trim piece in the wheel well that covers where the bolt pokes through
