Hey guys
I get a bit of wind noise from my soft top, and after speaking to another MX5 owner, he said the front edge of the soft top, above the windscreen is alot lower/neater join with the seal on his car, which creates the majority of my wind noise (my soft top sticks slighly up catching the wind)
Is there any way to adjust the soft top, or the seals, so that i get a better fit when i clip her up?
Will post photo's if needed, but i dont have any at the moment.

I assume you can either adjust the front clips or change the springs on the clips to make it stronger so that it'll close any gaps between the soft top and the top of the A-pillar

Your latches have a cover that clips onto a 12 or 10 mm turnbucle. Turn the turnbuckle to adjust.

Thanks Dann
Assuming that i get the latches down more, but i still need more adjustment in the middle of the roof, can i then try to adjust the seal (i.e. unglue and reglue) to try to get it down? as i think ill need more than the turnbukle adjustment will give me....

I had this same problem with one of my MX's. I never got around to fixing the problem but if i were to have a crack at it i would go for replacing the rubber.
I say this because i know those rubbers are subject to a heap of clamping force and once they age a little the get disfigured. the rubber i had on my car would protrude past the coutour surface even when the roof was down.
I would say get a new seal and a can of silicone spray, set it where you want it and take care to position the rubber carefully when closing the roof for the first few months until the rubber get a bit of memory..
Again,, not talking from experience of fixing the problem.

Your soft top could be bent?
or
Are your soft top locking latches nipples broken or missing.
I have spares if you require them.
I also have a spare rubber that goes between the screen and soft top.
