Well, its a few years old, but some people think this would look better in matching Ti body colour.

Black or Ti?

Replace with carbon hardtop? but IMO leave it and spend the money making the car faster.

Stu I think it would look better matched... doesn't look bad in black but the whole car looks more unified with it the same colour. Some stuff does work in contrast and some stuff doesn't... I guess this is something *I* think works better the same colour :)

I can't say I like either more than the other. Maybe if you did the windsrceen surround in black too that could work?

Seems you managed one also.
He asked an opinion on looks, I gave mine, and made yet another suggestion.
So useless. Almost as bad as your post.

No love lost!

Have you considered a CF wrap? It could mean you have a choice of colour (I think there is a wide range of tints in the 3M Di-noc CF vinyl wrap product.

You may even be able to find some pics of cars with this installed on the lid.

When or if you need to get the car or part of the car resprayed, you can remove the vinyl and get it colour matched.

Of the choice blue or matched, I'd say match to the TI colour of the car, if it makes you happy.

I was thinking the same. I'm leaning more toward keeping it black. Buy some black vynil wrap and do the A-pillars first.
Ron's colour coding looks fantastic, but that's because Grace Green is much more easily matched than Ti.

Bizi, 3M Di-Noc is not ideal for outdoor use.

Match the colour I reckon - looks like it belongs that way.

I'm sure I've seen a Ti with matching speed racer pod before (Non SE), but can't recall who it belonged to...

I voted black since I prefer the contrast, it looks more striking that way - when colour matched it looks bland.

That's what I prefer for hard-tops too (with some exceptions, such as black or BRG MX5s).

I agree with Lokiel. I like the black contrast.
