Does anyone know of a paint that closely matches/is a match for the silver used on the SE's centre console surround and vent rings?

it is surprising that a number of the silvers are actually pretty easy to match especially when parts are small. Your "local" paint supplies ( auto) may be able to tell you or tops of tins sometimes replicate it on the snap on lid.

Mate id use BMW 594. That is by far the cleanest looking silver with no tinters!

I ended up finding a really close match, but probably not close enough for my tastes. So what I'm going to do is take a few pictures and just paint them all seeing as three out of four of them were a little scuffed anyway. It's paint I found at Supercheap - it looks the goods.

Turned out pretty well. There's a slight metallic fleck to the paint. It's the PowerPlus Spray & Brush PJ9470. Also on the lid, is printed, "MITS PLATINUM".
