Anyone using Sonax products?
I 'm considering using the wheel rim coating on a new set of wheels, after some feedback.

have not tried it Sailor but it looks like it would do the job. I imagine Penrite would not sell a dud product.

Finally got around to cleaning and treating the wheels.

Cleaner works outstandingly!!
Don't be put off by the old style hairdresser smell or the fact that your wheels turn BRIGHT purple.
Make sure they're BONE DRY and rinse thoroughly with high pressure.

The Wheel rim coating is easy to apply to the BONE DRY, clean wheels.
Spray on and spread evenly with a cloth dampened slightly with the spray.
DON'T allow it to begin drying before spreading as it leaves spot which need to be recoated and rubbed out.
Do one wheel at a time.
Leave to dry for a couple of minutes and lightly polish the haze left with a soft cloth.

Time will tell how effective it is at repelling brake dust but in the meantime, the wheels look great.

UPDATE
This stuff absolutely positively without a shade of a doubt WORKS!!!
The car has EBC Redstuff pads which are probably the dustiest I've ever used, drĂven for a week,
went out with a WHITE cloth and got just a trace of black on the cloth.
Normally the wheels would have looked gunmetal by now.
