Detailer Sydney

Postby Dweezle » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:38 pm

Ever since buying the Malibu i have wanted to give it a detail, but i just do not seem to have the spare time ever.
Or really the skill to do a good job, and not screw something up.
I can wash and wax the car but am not really to keen on going at it with a buffer or what chemicals to use etc..
Would like to keep the paint in good condition.

Does anyone in the Sydney area know of a top notch detailer?

I would love to have the whole car done.
I figure it would be a little easier to keep the car clean and shiny then.

Anyone with a prefered "guy"???

Thanks in advance.

i know a guy.....

he looks after all of toyota's cars, also looked after popemobile logistics

high end car cleaning and car transport.

this is him:

If he asks how you find him, say through Stephen Rich.

if it is like Melb there are plenty of car detailers and they will do a good job- it is not like trying to find a piano tuner. Your area might need to be id'd for references from others or just go to the local car dealership and ask if they have any recommendations.

I have heard good things about Stingray Detailing.

Apparently these are the guys used by Hume Smash Repairs.

I'm also thinking about getting my car detailed (as long as its not too expensive), we might be able to get some kind of group discount if we could get a few people interested?

I got my car buffed in January by Dave the owner of this place http://www.reflecteffect.com.au/

After 8 years of neglect it came up as good as new apart from a few stone chips. Before it was a mass of swirls and the usual fine scratches, now it's a nice deep shiney black with nearly all the swirl marks removed and no nasty holograms. He spent nearly 6 hours on it so he's pretty particular. I cant comment on a full interior/exterior detail but I hear he has a pretty good rep on the VAG and some Honda forums.

I didn't think to take my hardtop with me so I'll be going back soon to get that done as well.

He comes to you and he is immaculate in everything he does, a real pro. I have him do my car every year to find the spots I have missed.
