WARNING: Rusty and dirty "N-Power" black roll bar from Ebay

Hi all,

Thought i'd send out a warning to all of you NA and NB owners, who one day (for aesthetics) may choose to purchase a Stylised Roll bar from the Ebay seller - N-Power.

I've just purchased one of these black roll bars and today it arrived at my place of work.
Like a kid in a candy shop, i couldn't help but open it then and there, i suppose for piece of mind (it just got delivered by courier) so i wanted to check for damages.

The box was fine, however, to my distaste, once opened, i found the plastic wrapping to be full of dirt (at least i thought it was initially), upon further inspection, i found it was rust, and not just a small amount either!

After lifting the bar out of the box and turning it horizontal, copious amounts of dirty rust flakes fell out of the bar (i'll post pics soon), the bar was also dirty, grimy, rusty and furthermore dinted

Bottom line is, I paid $230 all up (including postage) and I'm not pissed at how inferior my product is (yes, i know it's ebay, but this is low for even ebay standards), Suffice to say, i won't be dealing with this seller anymore and have contacted them for an explanation as to why i have such a crappy product!

Anyway, i hope this saves someone else the trouble and the waste of time

Truth be known this has been sitting around in storage for years, most likely in a damp area occasionally.

Is N-power US based?, the Americans wouldnt cop crap like this, so why should we?

Theres a good chance that they don't even know theres a problem with these, you should let them know and give them a chance to rectify the problem. These things happen to all retailers, it's how they deal with issues like this that sets one apart from the other.

N-Power is here in Brisbane, apparently a suburb away from me. They have a pretty decent reputation, and as others have stated, give them the benefit of the doubt to fix the issue.
Tell them you are from this forum as many of us have bought products from them as they used to be forum sponsors.

Hi everyone,

As stated, i've contacted the seller and i'm sure we could work something out satisfactorily, I'm not angered, just frustrated at the lack of quality control of such an item, it may seem petty of me to post it on a forum, but Ebay is renowned for it's occasional dishonesty and shoddy retailers, so you can't help be angered when it happens to you personally. ( i do realise the irony of taking a risk lol)

Anyway, I know of N-power's reputation and am fully aware that members of this forum have dealt with them before quite satisfactorily, so I'm quite sure a decent outcome can be achieved, for me however, its not a matter of getting a resolve, it's the time and effort required to do so, as my life in the military doesn't always allow me the flexibility to deal with things of this nature, particularly with living so far north as Townsville

Regardless, my post was as a warning to potential customers of the possible risk they could endure if they copped the same poorly made product as myself
