Hi all,

Just fitted an NB BD bar to the 8B, I have installed the back panel over the carpet. Now when I fit the hardtop on it touchs at the corner of the bar and is damaging the hardtop. Did I intall the roll bar wrong? I was told that I should have at least 10mm of clearance. Any advise would be great help!

Try fitting the back plate under the carpet

Touching the hardtop is a common issue with the BD bar.

Mine touches as well, I just got some felt with adhesive on one site (used for furniture on polished floors) and stuck it on the rollbar where it touched.
