I find my seat more comfortable, in fact I don't like the feel of the standard passenger seat when the GLW drives (she uses a cushion as the seat is to low for her)
The revised seat allows me to drive in my preferred position therefore fatigue over long distance has actually been reduced. It also allows me to wear a helmet for when I go to the track!
The process can be reversed if required by refitting the the foam pieces, assuming you have kept them, adding some contact cement and putting it back together.
