Hi all,

I have been doing research on a product from the USA for a while called WindBlokker and the pricing is quite good for NA / NB by the pics and price, but after contacting them late last year and finally getting around to ordering one they are snubbing AUSTRALIA and dont want dealing with downunder because is to hard now. It is a shame as I think it would be a good product.

Maybe if enough owners want them they might change their minds.

Below is some of the emails I sent and their reply's along with link to the product

Raceland US

We have tried shipping to certain international locations in the past but this has always proved to be time consuming, costly and we've run into too many UPS/Customs issues to continue. We do appreciate your interest but we sadly cannot make exception to this.

These have become quite generic. There are heaps of these on eBay US and UK, in many styles, as it's not much more than mesh and a light steel frame.
The better ones have a spring-loaded base so you can drop it down quick.

I was in contact with the makers of the original ones, Oris, a few years ago, but didn't go ahead with a GB because unit price was more than people was willing to pay for.

You can always contact DHL or any other international courier company, and arrange from here, to get it picked up and delivered to you and the sellers only have to provide the goods and the invoice.

However, you may get pinged for GST etc., even if the value is under A$1,000 as the couriers just clear the goods and pay the duties etc without worrying about the personal limits, as it is taken as a business transaction.

I get goods picked up all the time from the US and get them delivered here for my work, so it is quite easy to do.

You may be able to find other 3rd-party vendors that sell this item on their site and are prepared to send to Australia.

eg. Racing Beat doesn't export to Australia but Good-win racing sell their sway bars and do export to Australia.
